Cllr. Michelle Bradley was elected to Buncrana Town Council on 5th June 2009, taking the second of three Fine Gael seats on the Town Council.

Cllr. Bradley was appointed by Buncrana Town Council to Donegal Vocational Educational Committee (VEC). She is the only female member of Buncrana Town Council, and is a strong voice for youth on the local authority.

Michelle is a graduate of University of Ulster Coleraine (B.Arts [hons]) and of NUI Galway (H.Dip Education). Today she teaches Irish and Spanish at Crana College, Buncrana.

Michelle believes that Buncrana Town Council can have a more effective role in generating employment in the local area. As a teacher, she has a close relationship with hundreds of Buncrana families, and she understands the implications that the lack of available work is having for these families.

In 2005 Michelle was elected to the Board of Directors of Buncrana Credit Union. Today she is that organisation's Education & Training Officer.

Michelle has been active in campaigning for the upgrade of Cockhill Bridge and for the construction of a Cockhill footbridge for pedestrians. She is also working to improve Buncrana's footpaths
